Abstract

The invention relates to a sound recording method and device. The method comprises the following steps: when a pause request is detected during recording of first audio data, stopping sound recording; saving the first audio data and recording an audio parameter used by the first audio data; when a recovery request is detected, recording second audio data based on the audio parameter; and supplementing the second audio data into the first audio data to obtain complete audio data. Through application of the embodiment of the invention, continuity between two segments of sound records before and after pause is realized, and management of sound recording files is simplified. Compared with a way of generating two temporary sound recording files before and after each pause in the prior art, the sound recording method and device have the advantages that waste of the sound recording files on the aspects of time and space is avoided; the problem of asynchronism among a plurality of temporary sound recording files is solved; and bad influences on system performance are not caused.
