Example Embodiment

[0066] Example

[0067] Next, the elastomer roller of the first embodiment of the present invention and the above-mentioned platen roller 17 ( Figure 14 ) The same configuration as the platen roller 220 (elastic roller for labels) in the thermal printer 8 is based on figure 1 as well as figure 2 Be explained. However, right and Figure 13 as well as Figure 14 The same parts are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed descriptions thereof are omitted. figure 1 Is a perspective view of the platen roller 220, figure 2 Is an axial cross-sectional view of the platen roller 220, from the thermal printer 8 ( Figure 14 ) Etc. in the thermal print head 16 and platen roller 220 ( figure 2 ) Is a view of the transport direction of the linerless label 1. The platen roller 220 has a roller shaft 221 and an elastic member 222 that is installed around the roller shaft 221 and can rotate integrally, and makes a label (such as the above-mentioned linerless label 1, Figure 13 ) ...

Abstract

The invention provides an elastic roller, which has excellent non-adhesiveness or releasing properties and frictional force (gripping force) and is capable of stably transporting and guiding band-shaped members such as linerless labels and the usual liner-backed labels, even band-shaped members of differing widths. The present inventors focused on covering the outer layer of an inner elastic material layer (223) with a silicone resin (covering layer (224)) having a low specified C hardness (hardness according to a spring-type Asker Type C as prescribed in SRIS 0101 specifications). The elastic roller comprises an inner elastic material layer (223) and a covering layer (224) that is provided on the outer circumference of the inner elastic material layer (223) and contacts the band-shaped member. The covering layer (224) is configured from a silicone resin with a C hardness of not more than 20. The elastic roller has an opposite-end-direction-slanting circumferential surface (225) in which the elastic roller diameter (D1) decreases gradually toward an opposite end (220L), which is opposite to a wider end (220R) in the axial direction of the roller shaft (221).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to elastomer rollers, especially to platen rollers, pinch rollers and other rollers for transferring linerless labels or ordinary labels with a liner and other belt-shaped parts, especially for transferring linerless labels, etc. Adhesive layer or elastomeric roll that prevents linerless labels from being caught with hard-to-adhesive adhesives. Background technique [0002] A linerless label has been developed that does not use a release paper (so-called liner) that is temporarily pasted on the back side of the adhesive layer of the label. Since the liner that is discarded after use disappears, it is expected to be a resource-saving material. Figure 13 It is a perspective view of a state in which a conventional linerless label 1 is wound into a roll, and the linerless label 1 is as follows: Figure 13 As shown in a partially enlarged cross-section in , it has a label substrate 2, an adhesive layer 3 on the back side, a hea...
