Abstract

The invention provides an automatic layout method and device of a branch cable, and is used for solving the problems that an optimal layout is difficult in obtaining and layout efficiency is low since the traditional branch cable layout technology does not consider the optimization of a branch point. The layout method comprises the following steps: according to a product CAD (Computer Aided Design) model and a wiring list, obtaining the position information of a branch cable plug-in terminal in a solution space; according to the position information of the branch cable plug-in terminal and a first preset algorithm, determining the position information of the branch point of the branch cable in the solution space; according to the position information of the branch cable plug-in terminal, the position information of the branch point and a second preset algorithm, generating a cable layout path diagram which covers the surface of an obstacle of the solution space; and according to the cable layout path diagram, obtaining a cable model, and outputting the cable model as a layout design result. The automatic layout method and device meets the adherence laying constraints of the cable, and greatly improves the efficiency and the success rate of the algorithm if being compared with the traditional algorithm.
