The emulsion comprises extract of Radix Glycyrrhizae glabrae, macadimia nut oil, artemia extract, tremella extract, fragrant citrus fruit extract and ethylhexylglycerin. Whitening components of the emulsion is obtained through screening; after addition of the whitening components in a cosmetic matrix, the melanin value and melanin content of the skin can be reduced; thus, the emulsion has good inhibitory effect on melanin, i.e., good whitening effect. Moreover, through addition of citric acid and sodium citrate into the whitening emulsion, stability of the emulsion is guaranteed.
