Abstract

The invention discloses a light information storage device based on optical excitation materials and a storage method thereof. Although current oxide-based optical excitation materials have quite high chemical stability and heat stability, long-persistence phenomena thereof will cause certain negative effects on intensity and time of information storage. The device comprises an information storage array, a main excitation light source, an auxiliary excitation light source, a light sensor array and a positioning device. The main excitation light source and the auxiliary excitation light source are used for irradiating optical excitation materials in a storage unit so as to change electron trap states of the optical excitation materials, thereby achieving storage of the information. The device is simple in structure, and reads and writes quickly; disadvantages of the oxide-based optical excitation materials can be overcome; and the device can become a novel light storage scheme.
