The method comprises the following steps: calibrating the battery and measuring DC internal resistances of the battery at different temperatures in a relatively low charged state; obtaining discharge curves of the battery under the conditions of different temperatures, different rates and different heat dissipation conditions, and obtaining voltage recovery points generated by thermoelectric coupling actions from the discharge curves in a low-temperature discharge process of the battery; and obtaining the current temperature of the battery, and adjusting the discharge cut-off voltage of the battery according to the discharge rate of the battery, the internal resistances of the battery at different temperatures and the voltage recovery points of the discharge curves of the battery.
