Abstract

An air conditioner according to the present invention includes a display unit for displaying an operation state of the air conditioner, a motor for performing the rotation operation and generating power, a drive control unit for controlling driving of the motor, a detection part for detecting the abnormality of the motor, and a control unit for controlling the running of the air conditioner based on the data input by the detection part. The detection part is arrnaged on a power supply line for supplying an operating current flowing from the drive control unit to the motor, and the display unit outputs an operating state of the motor based on a control command from the control unit. The warning message corresponding to the abnormality occurring in the motor is output.
