Abstract

A novel diacid monomer with the diazafluorene based Cardo structure, namely, 9,9-bis(4-carboxyphenyl)-4,5-diazafluorene, is designed and synthesized firstly; the diacid monomer and a tetramine monomer PTPA (2,6-bis(3,4-diamino)phenyl-4-phenylpyridine) are taken as raw materials, polyphosphoric acid containing P2O5 with concentration higher than or equal to 85% is taken as a solvent, and the PBI polymer with a Cardo non-coplanar structure in a main chain is synthesized with a programmed temperature rising method. The novel PBI polymer with good solubility, good mechanical properties and excellent heat-resistant stability is designed and prepared.
