Abstract

The electric shaver comprises the following components: an inner cutter (7), an outer cutter (8) circumscribing the inner cutter (7), an outer cutter holder (31) for holding the outer cutter (8), a hair clippers chamber (R) for housing hair shavings and sebum cut by the inner cutter (7) are provided. A switch (6) for operating a motor (3) for driving the inner cutter (7) is provided in the main body case (1). A visible light responsive photocatalyst (10) is coated on at least one surface of the inner cutter (7), the outer cutter (8) and the outer cutter holder (31).
