Abstract

A wireless link control unit determines whether a link fault occurs in an opposite-end terminal side transmission device which performs data exchange with the wireless link control unit according to received control data frames, and furthermore determines whether a fault occurs in a self link according to state information of the wireless link control unit. On the condition that the link fault occurs in the opposite-end terminal side transmission device or the fault occurs in the self link, the wireless link control unit switches off connection with a second-layer switch. The second-layer switch selects a wireless link control unit from standby wireless link control units for establishing a connection. According to the wireless transmission system and the wireless transmission method, on the condition an abnormity occurs in a wireless transmission main link, the fault can be automatically found and automatic switching to a standby link is performed. The wireless transmission system and the wireless transmission method further have advantages of relatively low requirement for network configuration level of field engineering personnel, low price, high economic performance and relatively high practicability.
