According to the air conditioner as well as the remote control method and device thereof, the problem that control operation is inconvenient as control of the air conditioner depends on contact is solved; and as the gesture sequences are adopted, the recognition rate of the gestures can be improved, and the risk that a wrong control instruction is sent to the air conditioner due to error in gesture recognition is lowered.
