Abstract

The invention provides a backlight module and a preparation method of a light guide plate. The backlight module comprises an optical diaphragm, the light guide plate, a reflecting sheet and a light source, wherein the light guide plate is positioned between the optical diaphragm and the reflecting sheet; the light source is arranged at one side surface of the light guide plate; the density of the light guide plate is sequentially changed in a descending order from a near light source side to a far light source side, so that the rigidity of the light guide plate is also sequentially changed in a descending order from the near light source side to the far light source side. The rigidity at the near light source side on the light guide plate is high, so that the anti-deformation capability is high; the rigidity of the far light source side on the light guide plate is weak, so that the anti-deformation capability is low. Therefore the change trend of the temperature received by the light guide plate is consistent with the change trend of the self anti-deformation capability, so that the deformation quantity of each part on the light guide is consistent; the deformation problem of the light guide plate is solved; further, the technical problem of influence on backlight module divergent light ray uniformity due to light guide plate deformation is solved.
