The whole vehicle moment of inertia measuring system comprises a base; an actuator, which is disposed on the base; a carrying platform; a clamp assembly, which is respectively connected with a chassis of a to-be measured vehicle and the carrying platform, and is used to connect the to-be-measured vehicle and the carrying platform rigidly; a plurality of sensors, which are disposed between the chassis of the to-be-measured vehicle and the carrying platform, and is used to detect the action force of the to-be-measured vehicle applied to the carrying platform; a wheel restraining assembly, which is used for fixing the wheels of the to-be-measured vehicle; and a control unit, which is respectively connected with the actuator assembly and a plurality of sensors in a controlled way. The to-be-measured vehicle is disposed on the carrying platform, and the actuator is used to carry and drive the carrying platform. The whole vehicle moment of inertia measuring system is advantageous in that use is safe, and requirements on universality and convenience of measuring moment of inertia of different vehicles are satisfied.
