Abstract

A position sensor is used for sensing a neutral gear position and a reverse gear position of a transmission. A magnet is fixedly arranged on a shift lever of the transmission. The position sensor comprises two paths of neutral gear sensing lines and two paths of reverse gear sensing lines. Each of the neutral gear sensing lines is provided with an induction unit, the two induction units synchronously induce the movement of the magnet and generate two paths of signals, one path of the signal is a neutral gear signal, and the other path of the signal is a neutral gear position redundancy signal. Each path of the reverse gear sensing line is provided with an induction unit, the two induction units synchronously induce the movement of the magnet and generate two paths of signals, one path of the signal is a reverse gear position signal, and the other path of the signal is a reverse gear position redundancy signal.
