The present invention discloses a data recommendation method and apparatus, and belongs to the technical field of networks. The method comprises: acquiring a keyword tag of each information entry in a currently displayed webpage of a terminal; determining a specified keyword tag that is matched with a target group name among the keyword tags; when a quantity of group names contained in the specified keyword tag is greater then a preset quantity, selecting a preset quantity of group names among the group names contained in the specified keyword tag according to position information of the specified keyword tag in the currently displayed webpage; generating recommendation data associated with the preset quantity of group names; and delivering the recommendation data to the terminal, and enabling the terminal to display the recommendation data. According to the method and apparatus provided by the present invention, recommendation is performed based on all the keyword tags and group names in the currently displayed webpage, so that the information matching range is expanded, and because of the more fine group names and a higher matching degree with user interest points, the recommendation manner has higher recommendation precision and increases a data recommendation success rate.
