The calibration method comprises steps of acquiring a fish-eye image under an isometric eye-fish lens; then calculating and determining a radial brightness gradient graph corresponding to the fish-eye image; according to the determined radial brightness gradient graph, obtaining a circle center and a radius of an effective region edge of the fish-eye image; and combining the circle center and the radius of the effective region edge of the fish-eye image with an field angle under the isometric eye-fish lens, carrying out distortion correction on the fish-eye image, and mapping the fish-eye image to a corresponding space sphere. Thus, a distortion correction process of the fish-eye image under the isometric eye-fish lens is achieved and accuracy of the distortion correction on the fish-eye image is improved.
