The method comprises the steps of receiving a call request sent by a terminal, wherein the call request carries a conference number of the multimedia conference system which is requested by the terminal to access; and in response to the call request, dynamically allocating a MCU (Multi Control Unit) corresponding to the terminal for the terminal, wherein the MCU is used for accessing the terminal to the multimedia conference system indicated by the conference number.
