Embodiment Construction

[0022] exist figure 1 A longitudinal section through an exemplary embodiment of a chuck according to the invention for receiving a plurality of bobbins in a winding machine and for winding yarn, for example, is shown in . The chuck has a drive shaft 3 rotatably mounted in a hollow cylindrical shaft support 2 by a plurality of bearings 4 . The drive shaft 3 is coupled to an electric drive at an end (not shown here). At the end protruding from the shaft support 2 , the drive shaft 3 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the hollow cylindrical tensioning bush 1 by means of a hub 15 . Here, the projection of the shaft support 2 for mounting the drive shaft 3 protrudes into the open end of the tensioning bush 1 .

[0023] Clamping device 5 is arranged on the circumference of tensioning bush 1 , said clamping device has an outer tensioning sleeve 7 and has a plurality of clamping elements arranged between tensioning bush 1 and tensioning sleeve 7 6. In this exemplary em...

Abstract

The invention relates to a chuck of a winding machine for receiving and securing winding tubes (32). The winding tubes are held by a clamping device (5) on the periphery of a tensioning bush (1), wherein the clamping device (5) is released using a compressed air supply. In this process, the compressed air is supplied via a ring chamber (14) formed between the tensioning bush (1) and a shaft carrier (2), which ring chamber can be deaerated at an open end of the tensioning bush (1) via a cover opening (18) formed between the shaft carrier (2) and the tensioning bush (1). A sealing piston (21) is associated with the cover opening (18), which sealing piston is moveably formed on the shaft carrier (2), and which sealing piston interacts with a seal (22) on a sealing surface (20) of the tensioning bush (1). According to the invention, in order to compensate in particular shifts in position between the tensioning bush (1) and the shaft carrier (2), the sealing piston (21) has a centring attachment (23) on an end side facing the end of the tensioning bush (1), which centring attachment projects into the tensioning bush (1) when coming into contact with the sealing surface (20).

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a chuck of a winding machine for receiving and fixing a bobbin and for winding yarn to form a winding package. Background technique [0002] A chuck of this type for a winding machine is known, for example, from DE 196 07 916 A1. [0003] Chucks of this type are employed in winding machines to preferably wind freshly spun synthetic yarns to form winding packages. To this end, a plurality of bobbins are sequentially inserted into a chuck which is arranged in a protruding manner in the winding machine. For tensioning the bobbin, the chuck has a clamping device with a plurality of clamping elements that can be guided radially outward. The clamping device is integrated into the tensioning bush, which is held on the shaft support, wherein the shaft support protrudes into the tensioning bush. Furthermore, the tensioning bushing is driven and held spaced apart from the shaft support such that a surrounding annular chamber i...
