Abstract

The invention discloses a broadband remote access server service delivery method and device with the object of solving the problem with the congestion with the links or tunnels between a main Master and a spare Master in the prior art. The method comprises the following steps: receiving by a main device the device information of a terminal device sent through a main LSP or a spare LSP when the terminal device is online wherein the device information sent by the terminal device through the LSP is forwarded to the main device through the first link between the main device and the spare device; detecting by the main device the utilization rate of the first link single plate on the main device in connection with the first link; and when the utilization rate of the first link single plate is detected to be above or equal to a first preset threshold value by the main device, performing service delivery by the main device through the main LSP rather than through the use of the first link. With the above schemes, the congestion with the links or the tunnels between a main Master and a spare Master is reduced while the flexibility in service delivery is increased.
