Abstract

The invention relates to a multi-model method for evaluating similarity of tobacco materials based on tobacco aroma components and belongs to the technical field of tobacco. The method comprises: through Monte Carlo sampling without replacement, randomly selecting samples of certain ratio as a training set, and using remaining samples as an intra-model validation set; establishing a plurality of principal component models based on tobacco aroma component content; using the intra-model validation set to validate effectiveness of the models; inputting aroma component data of new tobacco material to the principal component models validated to be effective, calculating mahalanobis distances of the samples in the models, analyzing a generated data group of mahalanobis distances, and evaluating the similarity of the new tobacco material to tobacco material in a material store. Compared with methods to calculate similarity via one-time modeling, the method of the invention enables data information of aroma components of all samples more sufficiently, and also gives better consideration on differential data information of the aroma component contents in the tobacco samples in the material store.
