Abstract

The invention discloses a hot loading method and apparatus for a VOBC (Vehicle On Board Controller) configuration file in a cross-line train. The method comprises the steps of viewing whether a configuration file of a to-be-operated line is downloaded or not when it is determined that a current train needs to be subjected to cross-line operation in an operation process; when the configuration file is not downloaded, in each operation cycle of the VOBC of the current train, downloading the configuration file by steps from a storage unit of the train according to system resources occupied for running a VOBC program; and after the configuration file is downloaded, initializing the configuration file by steps in each operation cycle of the VOBC, thereby finishing hot loading of the configuration file, wherein a memory region occupied for running the VOBC and a memory region occupied for downloading the configuration file are independent of each other. According to the method, configuration data of all lines does not need to be stored in a system memory in which the VOBC is located, so that the expansibility of a system is higher and the VOBC can be subjected to cross-line operation in any number of lines.
