Abstract

The invention relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle (1) which has, as actuatable operating devices, a drivetrain (2) with an internal combustion engine (3) and a manual gearbox (4), wherein the gearbox (4) can be disconnected from the internal combustion engine (3) or connected to the internal combustion engine (3) by activating a clutch (5), and a brake device (11) and a steering device (10), wherein in order to carry out a parking manoeuvre at least some of the operating devices are actuated automatically. There is provision that in order to carry out a fully automatic parking manoeuvre an electric drive machine (8) is actuated to drive the vehicle in a forward movement and in a rearward movement.
