Embodiment Construction

[0022] The principle and spirit of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to several exemplary embodiments shown in the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that these specific embodiments are described only to enable those skilled in the art to better understand and realize the present disclosure, rather than to limit the scope of the present disclosure in any way.

[0023] figure 1 A flow chart of a method 100 for a storage system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is schematically shown. In some embodiments, the execution body of the method 100 may be an entity related to a storage system. In some specific embodiments, the execution body of method 100 may be combined with the attached Figure 4 The device 400 is depicted.

[0024] Such as figure 1 As shown in , the method 100 may enter step 101 after being started. In step 101, the execution body of the method 100 may copy data of the first storage device to the second...

Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for a storage system. The method may include: copying data of the first storage device to the second storage device through a first copy process to obtain a data copy; copying metadata of the data to the second storage device through a second copy process to obtain the first metadata copy; in the second storage device, copy the first metadata copy through a third copy process to obtain a second metadata copy; and perform data restoration based on the data copy and the second metadata copy.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to technical fields related to storage systems, and more particularly relate to a method and apparatus for a storage system. Background technique [0002] In a disaster recovery scenario for a storage system, a user may need to continuously access data at the local site, which is a copy of the data at the remote site. In existing storage systems, data replication between the two sites needs to be stopped in order to access a consistent local copy. Therefore, when accessing the local copy data, the data changes on the remote site cannot be synchronized to the local, thus losing the protection of the remote site. [0003] Accordingly, it would be desirable to provide an improved method of continuously accessing locally replicated data without requiring additional changes to replication techniques on current systems. Contents of the invention [0004] In view of the above-mentioned problems in the...
