Abstract

The invention proposes an SSL VPN configuration information synchronizing method and an apparatus, which are applied to a system consisting a main device and a backup device, comprising: when the device is the main device, based on the SSL VPN configuration information transmitted from a terminal device, correcting the command to execute local configuration correction and creating an SSL VPN service message as a configuration synchronous message wherein the configuration synchronous message carries a configuration synchronous identification and the corrected SSL VPN configuration information; through an SSL VPN service terminal, transmitting the configuration synchronous message to the backup device so that the backup device executes the same local configuration correction as the main device based on the configuration synchronous message. According to the technical schemes of the invention, the implementation process for the SSL VPN configuration information synchronizing between a main device and a backup device can be simplified, therefore, compromising the performances of the devices less.
