Both the primary zone pixel electrode (41) and the secondary zone pixel electrode (42) are slit electrodes in the shape of eight-pointed asterisks; the width of primary zone branch electrodes (412) of the primary zone pixel electrode (41) is less than that of secondary zone branch electrodes (422) of the secondary zone pixel electrode (42); and the width of primary zone slits (413) of the primary zone pixel electrode (41) is less than that of secondary zone slits (423) of the secondary zone pixel electrode (42).
