The method comprises a step of obtaining a first request which contains equipment information and port information, wherein the equipment information is information corresponding to equipment connected with the embedded PLC, and the port information is information of a port of the embedded PLC connected to the equipment, a step of determining a corresponding protocol in a pre-stored protocol library according to the equipment information, a step of carrying out compiling to obtain executable files corresponding to the equipment and the port according to the corresponding protocol, and a step of allowing the embedded PLC to execute functions corresponding to the equipment through the port according to the executable files. In the scheme, the embedded PLC can save less protocols, for example, only a necessary communication protocol is saved, data which needs to be stored by the embedded PLC is reduced, and the storage space of the embedded PLC is saved.
