Embodiment Construction

[0020] The vehicle identification method based on distributed optical fiber sensing in intelligent transportation of the present invention comprises the following steps:

[0021] (1) Lay single-mode communication optical fibers on the roadside, or use existing communication optical fibers, and connect optical fiber vibration sensing units to communication optical fibers to form a distributed optical fiber sensing system.

[0022] (2) Using the distributed optical fiber sensing system in step (1), continuously detect the vibration of the optical fiber, obtain the location where the vibration occurs, and save the vibration data.

[0023] (3) Denoise the obtained vibration data, and then conduct time domain, frequency domain and time-frequency combined analysis to extract time domain and frequency domain feature quantities related to vehicle vibration.

[0024] (4) According to the result obtained in step (3), according to the time-frequency characteristic of vehicle vibration, t...

Abstract

The invention discloses a vehicle identification method based on distributed optical fiber sensing in intelligent traffic. The vehicle identification method comprises steps that by using existing communication optical fibers on road sides or laying the optical fibers on the road sides, and optical fiber vibration detection sensing units are connected with road side optical fibers to form a distributed optical fiber sensing system, which is used to acquire vehicle vibration information of vehicles moving around the optical fibers; the time domain analysis, the frequency domain analysis, and the time frequency combination analysis of the acquired vibration signals are carried out to extract characteristics representing the vehicle vibration, and then characteristic vectors are formed; by adopting a mode identification method, the extracted characteristic vectors are used to identify categories, positions, numbers, and other traffic statistic quantities of vibration objects. The vehicle identification method is advantageous in that blind points of conventional vehicle detection are overcome, and the identification rate and the reliability of the vehicle detection in the intelligent traffic are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a vehicle identification method based on distributed optical fiber sensing in intelligent transportation, which is used for vehicle detection and traffic management on urban roads and expressways, and belongs to the field of intelligent transportation and signal processing. Background technique [0002] Continuous detection and position estimation of vehicles on urban roads and highways can provide traffic managers and drivers with dynamic vehicle position, speed and traffic event information, and also provide data support for improving traffic management methods and traffic decisions. [0003] In the current road traffic, identifying vehicles mainly relies on buried loop induction coil detectors, radar speed detectors, and video detectors. Traditional vehicle recognition based on vibration signals mainly relies on the detection of ground vibration by point distributed sensors such as microphones, accelerometers, geophones, and...
