Problems solved by technology
The ML detection algorithm is a joint detection algorithm. Its advantage is that the detection performance is optimal, but the complexity increases exponentially with the number of combinations, modulation orders, and antennas. Therefore, the extremely high complexity limits the application of ML algorithms in actual communication systems. application in

The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and relates to a low-complexity detection method for a MIMO-OFDM system. The method disclosed by the invention mainly comprises the steps of: (1), due to ZF or MMSE detection, performing judgement according to the energy value of a detection symbol, so that an initial solution vector can be obtained; (2), introducing threshold judgement, if the ML cost value of the initial solution is lower than the threshold value, directly outputting the initial solution, and ending an algorithm; and (3), if the initial solution does not satisfy the threshold value, performing neighbourhood searching of the initial solution, and taking previous m optimal neighbourhood solutions as m initial solutions, wherein neighbourhood searching of current m solutions is carried out at the same time; each current solution reserves n optimal neighbourhood solutions; then, previous m different optimal solutions as the current solutions in the next iteration are reserved in a m*n neighbourhood solution; and cyclic iterative searching can be carried out in such a manner till the algorithm is stopped while satisfying the ending condition. The low-complexity detection method disclosed by the invention has the benefits that: the complex is effectively reduced; and the proximate ML detection performance can be realized.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and relates to multiple-input multiple-output (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output, MIMO), orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM) and carrier index modulation (Subcarrier Index Modulation, SIM) technologies The invention relates to a related signal detection technology, and in particular relates to a low-complexity detection method for a MIMO-OFDM system. Background technique [0002] OFDM technology can effectively resist frequency selective fading by dividing the channel into many low-speed parallel orthogonal sub-channels. (Digital Video Broadcasting, DVB) and other fields have a wide range of applications. The combination of MIMO technology and OFDM technology—the proposal of MIMO-OFDM system is another major breakthrough in the field of wireless mobile communication. It has outstanding advantages such as high spectrum utilizat...
