Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: electing a main core monitor node and a standby core monitor node for monitoring a cluster in all monitor nodes through a Paxos algorithm; judging whether the current cluster is in a busy or fault state, if the current cluster is in the busy or fault state, not triggering the re-election, and managing the cluster through the standby core monitor node; and if the current cluster is not in the busy or fault state, triggering the re-election to elect a new main core monitor node and a new standby core monitor node. The main core monitor node and the standby core monitor node are elected through an optimized election algorithm, when the main core monitor node is invalid, the standby core monitor node can quickly replace the main core monitor node to work, thereby guaranteeing the stabilization of the monitor node when the cluster is in the busy or fault condition; and when it is detected that the system is not busy, the election is re-initiated to guarantee the stability of the distributed storage system, thereby reducing the system instability, maintaining the stable and efficient running of the system; and the read-write service of the user cannot be influenced.
