The ground station control module is used for achieving following four functions of (1) acquiring and sending a control signal of a remote controller; (2) finishing configuration of the remote controller; (3) finishing communication frequency switching during mode switching; and (4) receiving and displaying data returned by a shipborne automatic-driving device. The communication link is used for communicating with the unmanned ship ground station and the shipborne automatic-driving device. The automatic-driving device module receives a command pack transmitted by the unmanned ship ground station, solves control quantity and sends the control quantity to an execution structure. The invention also discloses a universal remote controller configuration and use method which is achieved based on the system. According to the invention, the method and the system are advantaged by far communication distance, low system complexity, convenient use and wide application range.
