The method comprises the following steps of: analyzing behavior features of an object system, selecting input variables and output variables, determining a value range of each input variable, and obtaining an input data set and an output data set; determining a high-dimensional approximation model of each output variable; solving undetermined parameters in the high-dimensional approximation models to ensure that the errors between a model prediction value and the input and output data sets are minimum in a set high-dimensional approximation model error range; and optimizing the behavior features of the object system on the basis of the solved high-dimensional approximation model. According to the method, a high-dimensional approximation model method with high efficiency and high precision is developed to solve the modeling and optimization problems of complex systems.
