Abstract

The invention discloses a detection method of periploca forrestii. The periploca forrestii is subjected to extraction including the steps of: 1) adding powder of periploca forrestii to a 60-80% ethanol solution according to material-to-liquid ratio of 1:20-1:30, and performing heating reflux extraction for 2-4 times, each time lasting for 50-70 min; 2) evaporative-drying an extract liquid in waterbath at 70 DEG C and adding distilled water to obtain a suspension liquid; 3) extracting the suspension liquid successively with petroleum ether, chloroform, ethyl acetate and n-butanol for 2-4 timesand collecting an n-butanol extracted part, and concentrating the n-butanol extracted part to dry to obtain the periploca forrestii extract. The detection method includes a content measuring method,which includes content detection to chlorogenic acid and periplocin. The method is used for detecting contents of the chlorogenic acid and periplocin in the periploca forrestii. The detection method is accurate and has high sensitivity, is good in repeatability and has reliable results, supplies evidence for medicinal quality control and evaluation for periploca forrestii and lays the foundation for determination of an optimum locality. The method can be used for determining an appropriate production region for the medicine during production and guiding harvesting of the medicine.
