The invention further discloses a method of adopting the catalyst for preparation of aliphatic polycarbonate by reaction of carbon dioxide and cyclohexene oxide. The mass of the catalyst is 0.1-1% of the mass of cyclohexene oxide, the reaction temperature of carbon dioxide and cyclohexene oxide in preparation of aliphatic polycarbonate is 60-150 DEG C, the carbon dioxide pressure intensity is 1-6MPa, the reaction time is 6-50h, and the whole copolymerization reaction of carbon dioxide and cyclohexene oxide in preparation of aliphatic polycarbonate is carried out under a solvent-free condition.
