The system comprises a first-stage refrigerant loop and a second-stage refrigerant loop which are connected through a heat exchanger. The second-stage refrigerant loop comprises a plurality of terminals. Each terminal is provided with a speed-adjustable draught fan and a temperature sensor used for detecting the supply air temperature or the return air temperature of the terminal. When the supply air temperature or the return air temperature of each terminal is outside the corresponding target temperature range, the rotating speed of the draught fans or the evaporating temperature of refrigerant in the first-stage refrigerant loop is adjusted, so that the supply air temperature orthe return air temperature of the terminal is adjusted to be within the corresponding target temperature range. The novel heat pipe machine room air conditioner system has the beneficial effects thatthrough one-time heat exchange of refrigerant-refrigerant in the two stages of refrigerant loops, heat loss caused by multiple times of heat exchange and a too long pipe can be effectively avoided; moreover, the first-stage refrigerant loop makes full use of outdoor air to drive a natural cold source, and more energy is saved.
