Problems solved by technology

However, the virtual machines currently used, such as kvm virtual machines, have many data communication layers. Using kvm to provide NAS services will make the entire system bloated, and it will take a lot of time when the virtual machine needs to be restarted.
At the same time, the application rate of ordinary virtual machines is not high, and different virtual machines need to be started to run different applications, which is a waste of system overhead.

Abstract

The invention discloses an NAS cluster. The cluster comprises a receiving module used for receiving an access instruction sent by a user layer, and a docker container used for operating back-end storage equipment by utilizing the access instruction. Due to the fact that the docker container is virtualized on an operating system level, an operating system of a host machine is directly reused, so that compared with a traditional virtualization mode, the docker has a lot of advantages. The starting and recovering speed of the docker container is very fast, and the starting of the container is realized in the second level and is much faster than a traditional virtual machine mode. Furthermore, the utilization rate of the docker on system resources is high, and thousands of docker containers can run on one host at the same time. The container does not consume extra system resources in addition to running an application, so that the performance of the application is high, and meanwhile, theoverhead of the system is small. The embodiments of the invention further provide a data access method, and the technical effects can be realized.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of storage devices, and more specifically, relates to a NAS cluster and a data access method. Background technique [0002] NAS (Network Attached Storage) is a storage structure directly connected to the network, supports multiple file transfer protocols, and provides centralized data access services to other users on the network. [0003] At present, users usually use the network to access the virtual machine to access the file system of the back-end storage device, thereby obtaining NAS services. However, the virtual machines currently used, such as kvm virtual machines, have many data communication layers. Using kvm to provide NAS services will make the entire system bloated, and it will take a lot of time when the virtual machine needs to be restarted. At the same time, the application rate of ordinary virtual machines is not high, and different virtual machines need to be started to run differe...
