Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: when a change of a shared network portof a connected server is detected, obtaining parameter information of the changed shared network port; generating a sideband interface network controller NCSI message based on the parameter information of the changed shared network port; and sending the NCSI message to a network controller of the server, so that the network controller switches to the changed shared network port according to the NCSI message. By application of the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, the baseboard management controller BMC can connect with the network controller of the server through the changed shared network port to manage the server, thereby achieving the purpose of automatic shared network port switching, shortening the shared network port switching time and improving the server management efficiency.
