Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for detecting an electromagnetic wave vortex state by using a vector network analyzer. The method comprises steps that a vortex electromagnetic wave detection field is established; an electromagnetic beam is emitted by a to-be-detected emission antenna; the electromagnetic beam is collected at N set positions by a probe receiving antenna; the electromagnetic beam emitted by the to-be-detected emission antenna is received by a first port of the vector network analyzer, the electromagnetic beams collected at the N set positions by the probe receiving antenna are sequentially received by a second port, the phase of each point of the N set positions is outputted according to the received electromagnetic beams, and the point phases are sent to theprocessor; data processing of the received N phase values is carried out by the processor, and the form of the electromagnetic beams emitted by the to-be-detected emission antenna is verified.
