The invention relates to a method for making yellow wine capable to serve as a guiding drug and a cooking condiment. The yellow wine is made according to the following steps of (1), preparing the following raw materials: dog-day folium artemisiae argyi, a wheat grit, a soft rice grit, rhizoma coptidis, soft yellow rice and 1 bunch of herba salsolae ruthenicae; (2), adding water into the rhizoma coptidis, well decocting, uniformly mixing the wheat grit and the soft rice grit while being hot, wrapping by using the folium artemisiae argyi to form a large oblong block, putting at shade, and fermenting to form a wine yeast; (3), soaking the soft yellow rice by using boiling water, then cleanly washing and fishing out; (4), well streaming the soft yellow rice, taking out, pouring into a basin, airing to be at room temperature, uniformly mixing with the wine yeast, and loading in a wine jar, wherein the bottom of the wine jar is provided with a small hole and is plugged by using a wood stopper; afterwards, making soup by using the rhizoma coptidis, pouring into the wine jar, adding a cover and sealing; (5), unplugging the wooden stopper after 3 days, mounting a water pipe, enabling waterto flow in a container, and then pouring the water into the jar; (6), pasting a jar mouth, carrying out heat preservation and fermenting an obtained mixture; (7), being capable of filtering the wine to drink after 1 month.
