Abstract

The invention discloses a measuring method of an IP video clean switching system, and relates to an accurate video real-time switching (clean switching) and scheduling system in an IP-based process ofmedia video production. The invention provides a method for detecting evaluation indexes of the IP video clean switching system via an IP signal. The evaluation indexes of the IP video clean switching system specifically include whether single switching reaches to video clean switching, the number of ost packets during switching, a switch time delay of a clean switching switch and a clean switching success rate; and an overall evaluation index of the IP video clean switching system is an end-to-end time delay. The method is applied to the above three IP video clean switching systems using SMPTE ST 2022-6 or SMPTE ST 2110-20.
