Abstract

The present invention discloses a method and a device for nameplate identification of a transformer station device. The method comprises the steps of: obtaining a scene image to be measured comprisinga nameplate of a transformer station device to be measured; employing a preset edge extraction algorithm to perform edge extraction processing of the scene image to be measured, obtaining a corresponding contour image to be measured, and positioning a nameplate contour area in the contour image to be measured; performing cutting and correction processing of the nameplate contour area to be measured, and obtaining a nameplate area image to be measured; and employing a preset convolutional neural network to perform identification of characters in the nameplate area image to be measured. The nameplate identification method provided by the invention can identify nameplate information of different electric devices in a non-contact condition so as to greatly improve the inspection tour efficiency and quality and has high environment adaptability and anti-interference capability for identification of the nameplate information.
