The magnetorheological exhaust silencercomprises a hollow cylindrical barrel, wherein an air inlet tube and an air outlet tube are respectively arranged at two sides of a barrel axis, a left separation board and a right separation board divides interior of the cylindrical barrel into a first cavity, a second cavity and a third cavity in a direction vertical to the barrel axis, the air inlet tube is communicated with the first cavity, the air outlet tube is communicated with the third cavity, a left piston and the right separation board are uniformly provided with left circulation holes and right circulation holes, the left piston is fixedly provided with a piston rod coaxial with the barrel, piezoelectric vibrators are sleeved on a thin shaft of the piston rod extending into the first cavity, each piezoelectric vibrator is formed by bonding annular piezoelectric ceramic and a metal base, the second cavity is internally provided with a cylinder which is coaxial with the barrel and has a cylindrical inner cavity, and the inner cavity of the cylinder is filled with magnetorheological liquid.
