Abstract

The invention relates to the field of soil mass characteristic tests, in particular to a hydrothermal characteristic joint test method and system with the function of simulating freeze-thaw cycles ofa soil mass. The hydrothermal characteristic joint test method includes the steps: filling a container with the soil mass to prepare test samples; connecting the test samples with TDR, KD2 and T2 detectors and placing the connected test samples in a constant-temperature tank in sealed states; setting freeze temperatures of the constant-temperature tank, acquiring freeze data of the test samples inprocedures in which the temperatures of the test samples reach the freeze temperatures from the normal temperatures and freezing the test samples at the freeze temperatures for first preset time; acquiring thaw data of the test sample in natural thaw procedures; completing the tests. Relations among thaw time, the temperature, the moisture content and heat conduction coefficients of the soil masscan be dynamically reflected, multi-physics coupling analysis can be implemented, and hydrothermal characteristic laws and engineering properties of the soil mass can be more scientifically explored.
