The method comprises the steps that step 1, a bin firmware upgrading file is generated; to-be-upgraded equipment is started; the to-be-upgraded equipment and a computer are connected; firmware upgrading software is run on the computer; a debug port is started, and the downloading speed is adjusted; the route of abin firmware upgrading file is designated by using the upgrading software, the size of a loading file block is selected, a to-be-downloaded firmware version and a current firmware version are compared with each other after an upgrading download instruction from a downloading computer is received by 'downloading starting' ZYNQ SOC, and downloading of the firmware upgrading file is automatically started after an instruction permitting downloading is received by an upgrading computer; block numbers which are expected to be transmitted again in an error responding message are transmitted during the above process, downloading of the file is completed, and the ZYNQ SOC is restarted automatically. The method has the advantages that the method is convenient, a machine box does not need to be opened, an embedded system of the ZYNQ SOC should be provided with serial ports, a special downloading device is not needed by at least one debugging serial port, and only a serial port wire is needed.
