Abstract

The invention discloses a thin film transistor (TFT) liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a method for realizing adaptive source driving of the panel. The TFT LCD panel may include a matrix of data lines and scan lines of sub-pixels arranged. The TFT LCD panel may include a gate driver configured to sequentially activate TFTs of sub-pixels belonging to the scan lines. The TFT LCD panel may include a source driver configured to charge sub-pixels of the scan lines to display images on the TFT LCD panel. The TFT LCD panel may further include an amplitude variation unit for comparing the amplitude variation on the data line driven by the source driver based on the image data of the current scan line and the previous scan line corresponding to the data line . If the amplitude change is greater than a predetermined threshold, the amplitude change unit may modify the amplitude on the data line by a predetermined value.
