Abstract

The invention discloses an electromagnetic suspension hub bearing unit which comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, a connecting shaft, an electromagnetic coil and two laser ranging sensors, whereina left ring and a right ring are fixed to the connecting shaft, and an annular cavity with the convex annular section is formed between the left ring and the right ring; the electromagnetic coil is wound on the inner ring; the outer ring comprises a balancing part and a connecting part, the outer ring is in a T shape, the balancing part is arranged in the annular cavity, the inner wall of the connecting part is fixedly connected to the outer wall of the balancing part, and the outer wall of the connecting part stretches out of the annular cavity; and the two laser ranging sensors are arrangedon the balancing part to measure the gap between the balancing part of the outer ring and the inner ring. The electromagnetic suspension hub bearing unit disclosed by the invention overcomes frictiongenerated during rotation by means of an electromagnetic suspension technology, detects the gap and adjusts the suspension force. A ball is replaced by electromagnetic suspension, so that the axial and radial friction of the bearing is reduced greatly, and the bearing is steadier in the operating process.
