In application of the thermal spring water to the cosmetics, the thermal spring water is utilized as an anti-ageing active ingredient in the cosmetics; each liter of thermal spring water contains the following ingredients of 75 to 114 mg of Na<+>, 16 to 24mg of Ca<2+>, 0.33 to 0.5mg of Mg<2+> and 0.36 to 0.55mg of Sr<+>. The cosmetic contains the thermal spring water, and the mass of the thermal spring water is 0.1% to 5% of the total mass of the cosmetic. Sodium, calcium, magnesium andstrontium ions in the thermal spring water disclosed by the invention can synergistically promote self repair of damaged cells, can obviously promote multiplication of horn cells under the specific concentration and achieves effects of resisting aging and promoting skin health.
