Abstract

The present invention provides a switching method of a control plane device, a switching device of a control plane device and a forwarding and control separated system and belongs to the communicationfield. When user plane devices in the forwarding and control separated system detect that communication performance between user plane devices and a main control plane device does not satisfy a normal communication condition, and communication performance between the user plane devices and a standby control plane device satisfies the normal communication condition, the user plane devices may sendswitching requests to the standby control plane device; and when detecting that the number of the control plane devices sent the switching requests is larger than or equal to a first quantity threshold value, the standby control plane device instructs each user plane device in the forwarding and control separated system to be switched to the standby control plane device, so that the standby control plane device replaces the main control plane device to work, and therefore, the normal proceeding of user services can be ensured. Compared with a method in the prior art, the switching method of the control plane device of the present invention is not only highly flexible, but also can effectively improve the reliability of the forwarding and control separated system.
