Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a group angular difference based fault phase judging method and device. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a three-phase voltage, a zero-sequence voltage and a zero-sequence current of a power system; judging whether the zero-sequence voltage is beyond a preset threshold value; if the zero-sequence voltage is beyond the preset threshold value, determining a compensation state of an arc extinction coil based on a phase angle relationship between the zero-sequence current and the zero-sequence voltage of all the circuits of a power system; and outputting a fault phase signal based on the compensation state of the arc extinction coil. The group angular difference based fault phase judging method and device solve the problem of single-phase grounded fault phase judgment of the arc extinction coil in over-compensation and under-compensation states efficiently, have high accuracy and can avoid the problem that inter-phase short circuit caused by erroneous judgment results in fault enlargement.
