The invention relates to a blade for a gas turbine and power generation equipment including the same. The blade for a gas turbine (5) is provided with an airfoil (18) having a leading edge (27), a trailing edge (28), a pressure side (24) and a suction side (25); the airfoil (18) comprising an outer wall (35) and an inner wall (36) substantially enclosed by the outer wall (35); and with a cooling arrangement (29) which comprises a suction side cooling path (31a) defined at least partially along the suction side (25) between the outer wall (35) and the inner wall (36); the suction side cooling path (31a) having at least one suction side inlet (40) and at least one suction side discharge arrangement (41); the suction side inlet (40) being arranged closer to the trailing edge (28) than the suction side discharge arrangement (41).
