The seed tray translation driving device comprises a longitudinal driving mechanism and a transverse driving mechanism. The longitudinal driving mechanism is used for driving seed picking plates to reciprocate between a seed picking station and a seeding station. The transverse driving mechanism is used for driving a seed sealing plate to open or close a seed picking hole at the seeding station. As lots of seeds reciprocate on the seed picking plates duringthe seed picking process, the seed picking efficiency is high, and the problem of seed leakage is not easy to cause. When one seed picking plate is in the seeding process, the other seed picking plate is in the seed receiving process.
